Imphal, August 10 (MExN): Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland) organized a condolence meeting for Abon Kamei at its head office in Imphal on August 10. The meeting, presided over by Amu Kamei, President, Zeliangrong Union (AMN), was attended by leaders of various frontal organisations of Zeliangrong including KAMA members. A press release from ZU (AMN) Executive Secretary stated that Abon Kamei dedicated his services for the welfare of Zeliangrong people and held various posts in different organizations such as Acting Chairman, ZU, Nungba Zone (1998-2000) and jury member of Union Pei ZU (AMN) for many years. “His demise is a great loss to the Zeliangrong tribe and his relentless contribution towards Zeliangrong will always be remembered forever,” the release said. ZU (AMN) shared sorrow with the bereaved family and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
