ZAPO Office bearers along with Speaker, elders and others.

Dimapur, January 26 (MExN): Zuketsa Area Public Organisation (ZAPO) held its 52nd general session at ZAPO Hall at Hq Zuketsa on January 25.
Wepekha Wetsah, President, Kuzha Tephe Public Organisation graced the session as speaker. He spoke on importance of brotherhood relation among Kuzha Netho Kethsü villages i.e. Leshemi-Lasumi-Zapami village. Stressing on importance of preserving identify of Kuzha Netho Kethsü, he observed that “intermarriages also led to losing of identify.”
On building the importance of leadership, he highlighted the importance of socialization, economy, education, truthfulness of the leaders and encouraged the leaders to maintain legacy. He also called to put God first in all the future endeavours.
The programme was led by Neipetso Lomi, Joint Secretary, ZAPO. Welcome address and Presidential Address was delivered by Sabou Krome. Invocation was done by Lhouwekhra Sara, Associate Pastor, Leshemi Baptist Church. The General Secretary Report was delivered by Rite Khutso. Short speech was delivered by Er Lhiwepe Khutso, President, ZAPO Kohima Unit. Vote of thanks was proposed by Zewekha Wetsah, Treasurer of ZAPO and benediction was said by Senokhape Chierie, Pastor, Lasumi Christian Revival Church.
The office bearers for ZAPO (2025-2027) were elected with Kedoutsolhi Wetsah as President and Nyitso Therie as General Secretary along with other Executives. Zuketsa Students’ Union office bearers (2025-2027) were also inducted led by Wetekhro Therie as President and Zhiekhwe Zhiemi as General Secretary along with other Executives.
The general session was attended by Leshemi, Lasumi & Zapami villagers from near and far. Kuzha Netho Kethsü comprises of Leshemi, Lasumi and Zapami villages. During the meeting, ZAPO Resolution 2025 was also adopted.
