Zunheboto, April 26 (DIPR): A farewell programme in honour of outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Temsu Longkumer, NCS was held on April 26 at DC Conference Hall.
Expressing his experience during his 20 months tenure as DC, Zunheboto the outgoing Administrator expressed his happiness and deepest gratitude to his administrative officers, DEF, Paramilitary forces, GBs and Civil Societies for maintaining peaceful atmosphere throughout the district. Longkumer said, as DC Zunheboto, he had fond memories to be cherished throughout his life. "Let Zunheboto district move as the bright sunshine" he remarked.
Describing Temsu Longkumer as an able administrator, Additional SP, Zunheboto, Relo Aye, recollects his first meeting with DC, and described him as a humble, honest and dedicated officer.
Vice President, Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Hokugha, said outgoing DC was an officer who has concern for humanity and said Zunheboto will remember him for the concern he has shown to the needy people.
SDO(C), Shanavas, IAS, who spoke on behalf of Administrative Officers, thanked the outgoing DC for giving the junior officers freedom to work. SDO(C), Atoizu, Phuleshe spoke on behalf of outpost officers and thanked DC for the care he has for the outpost officers.
The program was chaired by ADC, Zunheboto, Nungsangmenla Imchen, and invocation was pronounced by Office Superintendent, Phuheto Swu.
