
ZUNHEBOTO, NOVEMBER 8 (MExN): A farewell ceremony was held on November 8 in the DC Conference Hall, Zunheboto, to honor Keyirangding Hegui, the outgoing Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of the district. The ceremony, chaired by SDO (Civil) Sukhalu Chishi, was attended by district officers, dignitaries, and staff who gathered to bid farewell to Hegui, known for his impactful leadership and dedication.
During the event, Zunheboto Deputy Commissioner Rahul Bhanudas Mali, IAS, expressed his gratitude for Hegui’s service, saying, “Today, we gather to honor and express our heartfelt gratitude to Keyirangding Hegui, ADC, for his exceptional service, dedication, and integrity. As you embark on the next chapter, we wish you continued success and fulfillment.”
SDO Rohbi Sangtam highlighted Hegui’s intellectual approach to administration and his active role in community programs. “Keyirangding Hegui has been a beacon of leadership and commitment. His unique way of handling issues and his involvement in educational programs have set a benchmark for us all,” Sangtam said.
Herato Sukhalu, Chairperson of the Zunheboto Town Council (ZTC), emphasized the impact of Hegui’s leadership, stating, “His leadership has inspired each of us to do our best. He has won the hearts of the people, and his cooperation with the community has been exemplary.”
In his farewell address, Hegui expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve in Zunheboto. “I am blessed to have been here in Zunheboto. I have learned so much from my colleagues and staff, which has enriched my life. Conducting the ULB elections gave me a chance to resolve issues and strengthen bonds within the community,” he shared.
He concluded by appreciating the support he received from the people and the churches, urging all to continue praying for one another. “While fame may come, it is our health and well-being that allow us to enjoy life,” he added.
The event concluded with a benediction by Khetoho, UDA, and a presentation ceremony where Hegui was honored with tokens of appreciation. An invocation was earlier offered by Phukuto, LDA.
