Zunheboto, May 14 (MExN): The Zunheboto District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) monthly meeting cum picnic was held at Arkha’s Farm under the Chairmanship of G Ikuto Zhimomi, Chairman DPDB & Advisor for Land Resources on May 14.
The meeting began with welcome address by Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, Zunheboto, Rahul Bhanudas Mali (IAS), stated a DIPR report. The DC Zunheboto expressed gratitude to all the HoDs and members for the successful conduct of the recently concluded parliamentary Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
Advisor G Ikuto Zhimomi on behalf of all the seven legislatures thanked all the HoDs, other officers and government employees for their sincere cooperation for the smooth conduct of Lok Sabha elections in the district. He also highlighted about the upcoming ULB elections in the state and appealed to all the HoDs for their cooperation and support.
The meeting deliberated on the agenda proposed and forwarded by ADC Satakha, M.S. Thangpong for establishment of Sub-Post office at Satakha Sub-division. The board elaborated and agreed upon to forward the case to the concern department for approval.
The meetings culminated with a briefing from the chair about the World Environment Day to be observed on June 5, and requested the HoDs for their support in every possible means.
