Zunheboto, July 4 (DIPR): The monthly Zunheboto DPDB Meeting was held on July 4 at DC Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Parliamentary Secretary, Soil and Water Conservation, Pukhayi Assumi.
The meeting decided to adopt one village from each constituency under Zunheboto district to be selected as model village to encourage economic growth and to boost production for which members were constituted to select villages. Pukhayi also spoke on the need of having separate logo for Zunheboto District Planning Board. The members after thorough deliberations constituted a committee with SDO (C), Zunheboto, Hollohon as Convenor, HODs of Agri and Allied Sectors, DCO (Culture) and DFO (Forest) as members.
The board approved registration of VK People Organization, Green Club, Zunheboto and opening of Kids Home Academy at Tokiye town.
ADC, Zunheboto, Nungsangmenla Imchen also suggested for joint DPDB Meeting with neighbouring districts so as to exchange views and also to see the functioning of other districts. Department of Forest, Environment and Climate Change and Education Department will present power point in the next meeting.
