Zunheboto, Longleng DPDB meetings held

Zunheboto, January 23 (MExN): Zunheboto District Planning & Development Board meeting was held at DC conference hall on January 23. 

The meeting was chaired by Ikuto G Zhimomi, Advisor for Land Resource and Chairman, Zunheboto DPDB, stated a DIPR report.

At the outset, the Chairman acknowledged all the HODs for rendering services during the 50 years of Zunheboto district hood and Ahuna festivals celebration. The Chairman advised the HODs to be sincere in their works and be present at the station and serve the people with full dedication. He also asked them to try to create employment avenues for the people through their concern departments. The Chairman also released the Souvenir of the recently concluded Golden Jubilee chum Ahuna celebration. 

Agendas discussed during the meeting was creation of SDAO Agri office at Atoizu, creation of EAC headquarter at Tokiye Town and request for jungle cutting clearance from power department.  Upon discussion by the house on the Agendas, all the members agreed and decided to send it to the higher authority for approval. 

Longleng: The Longleng District Planning & Development Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of DC & Vice Chairman DPDB, Dharam Raj, IAS at DPDB hall Longleng on January 23.

A DIPR report stated that during the meeting, the DC Longleng requested all heads of offices to submit agenda through the District Planning & Development Board. The house discussed and deliberated for the upcoming Republic Day celebration and the DC reminded the officers to carry out the respective assigned works as per work distribution and coordinate for the successful Republic Day celebration in the District. 

The house also discussed about the shortage of JCOs and training for the newly recruited personals of VGs in the District. The Department of Village Guard (VG) highlighted their activities through a PowerPoint presentation. The Department of Forest was entrusted to present their departmental activities in the next meeting.
