Zunheboto: Only suspected person showing symptoms of COVID-19 to be quarantined

Zunheboto, May 11 (MExN): With regard to stranded people coming from outside the state to Zunheboto District, only the suspected person showing symptoms of COVID-19 will be quarantined at quarantined facility center and rest will be home quarantined in their respective subdivision following strict COVID-19 protocols under the supervision of medical department.


This was decided during a meeting held at Deputy Commissioner's residence on May 11 which was attended by the Zunheboto District Task Force along with Sümi Hoho, Sümi Kükami Hoho, Sümi Totomi Hoho and ZCMC members. 


A press release issued by Peter Lichamo, Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto stated that the house agreed that the number of beds in quarantine facility will be increased by 50 at Zunheboto headquarter and minimum 10 in all outpost subdivisions and screening and identification of persons to be quarantined will be done by the Medical Department. 


With regard of bedding and food, it will be arranged by respective family members of persons to be in quarantine center. Further, it was also decided that shops will remain open from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm except on Sunday.
