Zunheboto District Planning & Development Board meeting held at DC's conference hall, Zunheboto on August 7.
Zunheboto, August 7 (MExN): Zunheboto District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, Rahul Bhanudas Mali (IAS) at DC's conference hall, Zunheboto on August 7.
A DIPR report stated that exhorting the members, the DC Zunheboto reiterated for sincere cooperation from all concerned HoDs and departments for the grand success of the celebration.
Major Praveen Salotra, 11 Battalion, Assam Rifles, presented a presentation on de-addiction, measures for tackling, felicitation of various rehabilitation centers and other sources concerning drug abuse. During the discussion on the agenda for renewal of society, Sumi Baptist Church, Zunheboto was recommended for renewal after a brief discussion by the members. The board also discussed the upcoming inter departmental tournament for the year and finalised it to be conducted from September 17 to 20 with three events, badminton, carrom and penalty shootout.
PEREN: The Peren District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held under the chairmanship of MLA & Chairman DPDB Peren, Namri Nchang at DC's Conference Hall, Peren on August 6.
The meeting commenced with welcome note from the Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB Peren, Hiazu Meru, NCS followed by the introduction of new member; Kughato Sema, GM (DIC) Peren, stated a DIPR report.
After a brief review of the previous meeting minutes, the DC informed that a circular has already been issued in regard to maintenance of office compounds to all the Heads of Offices at District HQ, directing them to clear outgrowths in and around their respective office premises.
In the meeting, the following agenda were deliberated and approved: DPDB Award, Peren District Task Force on Roads and establishment of police outpost in District HQ. Further, the house also approved and recommended the proposal for upgradation of Information Assistant (IA) Office at Tening to Assistant Public Relations Officer and post creation of Information Assistant (IA) Office at Jalukie and Ahthibung sub-division.
CMO Peren, Dr Limatula Ao gave a detailed PowerPoint presentation about the district health profiles and different activities undertaken by the Medical department in the district. For the next meeting, the DC entrusted the Department of Agriculture and Horticulture to present departmental presentation.
