DIMAPUR, APRIL 20 (MExN): Zunheboto Police, in a span of two days, arrested four people, on charges of theft and burglary from several locations in Zunheboto. A press note from the PRO, Zunheboto Police informed that two persons, identified as Akaito Assumi and Pito Murru of Zunheboto Town were arrested on April 2. Following the arrest, a total of 85 items were recovered ranging from a motor bike to computer sets, electronic items, gas cylinders, utensils etc, which police said was stolen from different location of the town on different occasions spanning over a period of several months. Police informed that the modus operandi of the duo was to conduct surveillance during the day time on the targeted houses/offices and thereafter commit the act during the night, mostly taking advantage of the inclement weather. In the second arrest, two persons identified as Atoi Sumi and Kikaho Aya, were held on April 1 for committing burglary at the Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) campus. Following the arrest, mobile phones and blankets stolen from the campus area were recovered.
