Zunheboto, May 22 (MExN): An inter denomination prayer programme with the theme ‘Zunheboto prays for the world’ was organized by Zunheboto Town Sumi Baptist Church (SBAK Aizuto) under the banner of Pastor's Union Zunheboto on May 22.
A DIPR report stated that the programme held at cultural hall Zunheboto was attended by various churches in Zunheboto strictly following the government protocol guidelines of social distancing and other necessary precautions.
Zunheboto Deputy Commissioner, Peter Lichamo appealed to the church leaders to abide with the guidelines issued by the government and to spread awareness about the pandemic through all possible means.
The prayers for ‘Global, India and Nagaland’ was led by Associate Pastor, SBCZ Inoto Yeptho, Pastor Lotha Baptist church, Lawrence and Pastor Tenyimi Church Vechulo Doulo respectively.
The gathering prayed for World Health Organization (WHO), thanksgiving for the non-effected countries and states across the world and all world leaders and frontline workers and also the Naga students, workers and families stranded outside the state.
Invocation prayer was said by Pastor of Nepali Church, Dawa Lama, keynote address by chairman PUZ, Rev Ahoshe Yeptho and word of God by SDA Church, Pastor Sunep Jurry.
