Zunheboto, May 25 (MExN): Pinnacle Skills Institution, Zunheboto, in collaboration with district administration Zunheboto, organised a one-day workshop and orientation on skill development at VDB hall, Zunheboto on May 25.
Delivering the welcome note as the special guest, Extra Assistant Commissioner, Chinglem Konyak highlighted the trainees on the importance of skill development to mitigate the raising alarming rate of unemployment in the state as well as in the country, stated a DIPR report.
Further, he briefed that district administration along with Pinnacle Skills Institution aims to empower the vulnerable sections of the society, focusing mainly on their targeted group, which is educated unemployed, girls/women and the people in need of employment skills under Zunheboto district.

Pinnacle Skills Institution, Zunheboto centre manager, Bothuka S Kiho, said that the institution which incepted in 2021, aims to employ the unemployed and works as a channeling source by training them in tailoring, baking, beautician (makeup and hair cutting) at the minimal rates and free of cost Housekeeping training with job placements etc. The trainees would be certified after successful completion of the training, he added. The District administration along with the institution also announced that a free training on tailoring for a month will be initiated for all the interested candidates which will begin tentatively by the last week of May 2024.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Hitokali K Chophy and programme culminated with demonstrations from the trainers, Vilika Sumi on Baking, Kughatoli Awomi on Tailoring and Huto Zhimo on beautician.
