Zunheboto takes up new lockdown measures

Zunheboto, July 26 (MExN): A meeting of the members of Zunheboto District Task Force on COVID-19 was held on July 26. The meeting decided to impose certain guidelines with regard to lockdown restrictsions, ATM facilities, Quarantine Centres and COVID Care Centres:   

•    Lockdown after 2:00pm on all days 

•    Total restriction on movement of people/vehicle after 2:00pm, except for those with special permits by competent authority 

•    ADC, HQ to issue car passes for special cases CMO, Zunheboto to issue certification for medical emergencies 

•    MS, Zunheboto to issue movement pass to medical staff of District Hospital.

•    Compulsory wearing of masks, social distancing, prohibition of spitting in public and chewing tobacco 

•    Police and sector GBs are to enforce the standing order in this regard. 

•    The President, SKH is entrusted to inform the GBs of all villages and wards under Zunheboto district in this regard for necessary compliance. 

•    ATM timing to be from 7:00am to 2:00pm on all working days. 

•    Branch managers of banks in Zunheboto are requested to provide ATM services during this time.

•    Lifting of check gates

•    Police check gates at Zungti and Liza Naghuto are to be lifted by July 31. The remaining other check gates are to be inensified. 

•    Institutional quarantine at GHSS, Zunheboto will be withdrawn after the present internees are released. ZGC, Zunheboto Quarantine Centre will be functional till further order. 

•    Town hall, cultural hall, youth hall and badminton stadium to be utilised as quarantine centres. Temporary partitions will be made wherever required. 

•    Internees will be sent to their respective homes for home quarantine on being tested negative after 14 days of institutional quarantine. 

•    Assam Rifles and BSF are to have their own COVID Care Centres for nCOVID positive persons amongst the troops. 

•    Women Training Centre at Police Reserve, Zunheboto is identified for setting up Covid Care Centre.
