ZUNHEBOTO, OCTOBER 22 (MExN): District Sports Officer, Zunheboto, Atoli Yeptho, has informed that the department will conduct a district level under-14 ‘Catch Them Young’ tournament in collaboration with the Zunheboto District Badminton Association, Zunheboto District Table Tennis Association and Zunheboto District Athletic Association on October 30.
The events for both boys and girls will be held for table tennis (singles and double), badminton (singles and double), athletics including 100mtrs and 800mtrs races, long jump, high jump and shot put.
The DSO informed that interested participants should provide proper age proof certificate and Aadhaar card to the concerned association on October 29, by 3:00pm at local ground, Zunheboto for document verification.
Certificates along with cash prizes will be awarded by the department and winners from the event will get the chance to represent the district in the state level ‘Catch Them Young’ tournament 2021 at Kohima.
