DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 19 (MExN): ATMA Tuensang Sangsangynyu block inaugurated a poultry farm school at Yongphang Village on October 17 with Chollen BN Chang as the farm school teacher. BTM Temjenmenla highlighted on the concept and functions of the farm school.
The farm school was inaugurated by BTT Convenor, C Limba, HI (Horticulture). He shared on the economic aspects of poultry farming and its potential as a source of self employment.
Meanwhile on October 18, ATMA Sangsangnyu Block also inaugurated a Cardamom farm school at Khudei, Hakchang village. BTT Convenor, C Limba, HI (Horticulture) gave a brief highlight on scope and importance of Cardamom farming.
N Lango Chang was appointed as the farm school teacher. He shared his experience on how his current cardamom farm has uplifted the economic status of his family. Altogether 20 farmers and 3 ATMA functionaries attended the inaugural programme.
