Peren, January 15 (MExN): Brigadier Surender Singh Dhankhar, Group Commander NCC GP Kohima visited NL (I) Sainik School COY, Punglwa for inspection visit on January 15. On his maiden visit, the Officer was accorded with Guard of Honor by the Senior Division NCC cadets of the school and was received by Group Captain Sharad R Keskar, Principal Sainik School Punglwa.
He was briefed about the NCC and its functionaries in the school by Officer Commanding, Squadron Leader Sanjeev Chaudhary. He visited the NCC Office, Academic Blocks, School campus and interacted with the cadets and ANOs, stated a press release.
Brig Dhankar, an ex-cadet of Sainik School Kunjpura, while addressing the cadets encouraged and motivated them to join the Armed Forces. He said that Sainik School cadets have the best of infrastructure and facilities and the same should be exploited to excel in any field. He advised the cadets to have a confident approach as they attempt to join NDA. The Principal presented a memento as a token of appreciation on behalf of the school.
