Children School, Mokokchung organized an essay competition and a science exhibition competition for the students at the school premises based on the theme ‘Science and Technology for a sustainable future’ on March 7.
The essay competition was for class 8, while the science exhibition was for the students of 9 and 10. A demonstration on living organisms with the help of microscope and a power point presentation on different discoveries was presented by the science teachers, Jemsung and Temsujungba.
Lanu Longchar, proprietor, Children School Mokokchung gave away the prizes during the prize distribution ceremony.
The children school management and staff conveyed their heartiest appreciation to the Department of Science and Technology, Kohima, Nagaland for awarding the school with field laboratory kit and other science lab equipments to the school, because of which they were able to organize and observe the science day programme in the school.
