Tohanba condoles
DIMAPUR, JANUARY 31 (MExN): Parliamentary Secretary for CAWD, R Tohanba has expressed shock and pain at the demise of Tsutsamo Kikon, father of Y Kikon, the additional deputy commissioner of Shamator, on January 28. The Parliamentary Secretary in a condolence message said that late Tsutsamo was an upright and honest person who inspired others. Conveying his condolences to the bereaved family members, Tohanba prayed that the Almighty would grant eternal repose to the departed soul.
SBAK Aizuto informs on training
Aizuto, January 31 (MExN): The Children Ministry Department under Sumi Baptist Churches Association (SBAK), Aizuto would be having Sunday School supervisors/teachers training as set in the SBAK Calendar’ 2014 from February 5 to 7 at Sumi Christian Centre, Aizuto. The Children Ministry Supervisor Kughalu L. Chishi has informed all churches to send respective Sunday School supervisors and teachers for the training. Rev. Samuel, Children Bible Ministry Director and Samuel would be the resource persons for this training.
Farewell for CMO Mokokchung
Mokokchung, January 31 (MExN): A farewell programme was conducted for the outgoing CMO Mokokchung Dr. N. Bendang Jamir at CMO Office Complex on January 30. Dr. N. Bendang has been transferred and posted as CMO Longleng whereas Dr. S.S Akaba Longchar, MS District Chest & TB Hospital Mokokchung has been transferred and posted as CMO Mokokchung. The programme was attended by officers from the health department, NRHM & DAPCU staff and the ministerial staff.

Phek, January 31 (MExN): SDO (C) and Electoral Registration officer, Phek Athrila S has informed that the list of amendment to the draft roll for 16 - Pfutsero, 17 - Chizami, 18 - Chazouba, 19 - Phek and 20 - Meluri Assembly Constituencies has been prepared with reference to January 1, 2014 as the qualifying date and in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960. A copy of the said e-roll together with the list of amendments have been published and will be available for inspection at the office of Sub-divisional Officer (C) and Electoral Registration officer, Phek during office hours.
