Tetseo Sisters from Nagaland to feature in ‘Teacher's Genuine Stories’

Tetseo Sisters, the noted folk/folk fusion band from Nagaland, will be showcased on the 6th episode of ‘Teacher's Genuine Stories’ as master performers who have redefined storytelling through their respective forms of art.


The episode featuring the Tetseo Sisters will be aired on ‘TIMES NOW’ Channel at 7.30 pm on Saturday, September 28 and then made available on the streaming app VIU, informed a press release received here. VIU is a Hong Kong-based over the top (OTT) video streaming provider available in 17 Countries. 


Storytelling is one of the oldest forms of art, especially in India, and Teacher’s Genuine Stories promised to take viewers on a splendid journey of exciting tales with presentation by renowned art performers - singers, folk artists, dancers, troupes and music bands through varied media. 


Hosted by the charming Bollywood Actor Rahul Bose, the 8-episode series will feature stories and heart to heart conversations to give a deep understanding of the mind and heart of great artists, the release said.


The series aims to discover and bring forth to the viewers, authentic storytellers from different parts of the country and is dedicated to unravelling the passion and zeal of these very artists who are deeply connected to their craft and are an inspiration to the younger generation, it added. 


Witness enchanting stories and some of the best contemporary and traditional performers who are keeping alive the very soul of traditional art forms.
