Throttle Thrust V organized by the Spearhead Motorsport Initiative, was flagged off by R. Nungshilepden Jamir, at Ungma village, Mokokchung. The fifth edition of Throttle Thrust is organized in memory of Late. Imtimayang Jamir, an esteemed member of the team.
32 participants from Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha and Mokokchung districts are participating in three categories, which include below 1300 cc, SUV, and open category, with a prize pool of up to 3.5 lakhs. The first stage of the race witnessed the super-sprint and hill climb formats for all categories.
The event will witness stage II on 4 November and the prize distribution ceremony will be held at Ungma Tourist Centre, Ungma with C. Manpon Konyak as the special invitee.
