Nagaland witnessed another big surge in daily COVID-19 cases Monday morning with 45 new infections from the virus.
“45 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected out of 335 test results received,” Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister, S Pangnyu Phom updated on Twitter.
The new cases included 23 from Kohima, 14 from Dimapur and 8 from Mon district, he added.
With this, the status as of 11:59AM, July 27 stood at: Positive – 1384; Active- 831; Recovered-549.
The State's health authority has designated 4 cases under 'Deaths' category with a disclaimer: “Cause of death under investigation.
