A no-show from Tenyimi FC resulted in High Hill Club receiving a walk-over in the other game scheduled for the day. Tenyimi FC was further suspended for a period of three years from competing in the championship for the failure to turn up for the scheduled match as “conferred to the Organizing Committee in the Clause 12 and sub – clause (a) of the 25th Loyem Memorial Senior Soccer Open Championship 2017 Bye Law.” “The suspension order was served on the part of the Tenyimi FC failing to address their inability without any official/formal intimation to the Organizers,” tournament officials said.
