105 participants joined the 3-km run organized by Assam Rifles (COB Phelungre under Kiphire Battalion) on October 27.
Kiphire, October 27 (MExN): A total of 105 people participated in a 3-km run organised by Assam Rifles at Phelungre village in Kiphire district on October 27 as part of the nationwide Fit India Freedom Run 7.0–2026.
The event was organised by the Company Operating Base (COB) Phelungre under Kiphire Battalion, under the theme “Fitness Ki Dose, Aadha Ghanta Roz”. The run was flagged off by the Company Commander, COB Phelungre, in the presence of the Phelungre Village Council Chairman.
Participants from different age groups took part in the run to promote regular physical exercise and an active lifestyle. Cash prizes were awarded to the youngest and oldest participants to encourage participation. The event concluded with refreshments for all participants.
