11th LFC: Englan Range FC, Longsa Sports Association and Titans XI win last league

Wokha, February 4 (MExN): Englan Range FC, Longsa Sports Association and Titans XI won their last league stage match on Friday in the ongoing 11th Lotha Football Championship 2022, played at local ground organised by Wokha District Football Association.

Englan Range FC defeated Glory hunters by 3-1 to enter the quarter’s finals of the tournament. Suben Ngullie, Nchumthung and Jenio Yanthan scored for Englan FC while the lone goal for Glory Hunters was scored by Kevizolie.
In the second match Longsa Sports Association beat Gallants FC Kohima by 1-0, the winning goal for Longsa SA was scored by Iteibabe in the 24th minute of the game.

Playing their last league match Titans XI defeated United Sporting Club Koio by 5-1 and found a slot in the quarters finals. Romeo found the net twice in the 28th & 37th minute, while Mhabemo, Johny and Atho scored a goal each for Titans. The last league match of the tournament will be played tomorrow.

Later in the day, Tsumang Young Stars in collaboration with Cleanliness Ambassador Wokha town conducted a cleanliness drive at the local ground. The organisers (WDFA) thank both the groups for initiating such drive.
