13 pairs of Mail Express Train services to resume in June–July

Two pair special trains to run from Guwahati

Maligaon, June 20 (MExN): Several passenger train services are planned to be restored in Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) area by mid of July, an official release said. 

At present, 62 pairs Specials Mail/Express trains and 5 pairs Local Passenger trains are running per day as on June 20 and running of 10 more pairs of Specials Mail/Express trains have already been notified, it said. 

Three more pairs would be be notified soon, stated the press release from NFR Chief Public Relations Officer Subhanan Chanda.
Among these notified trains, two pair weekly special trains will run between Guwahati – Bikaner and Guwahati – Barmer from the month of June-July, 2021 until further advice, it said.

These trains will run via Rangiya junction, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar junction, Patna junction, Prayagraj junction and Jaipur junction during both way journey and will have AC-2 tier, AC-3 tier, sleeper class and general second class accommodations for passengers, it added. 

Detials of the special trains are:
•    Train No. 05634 Guwahati – Bikaner junction weekly special will run w.e.f. 26-06-2021 leaving from Guwahati at 10-45 hours on every Saturday to reach Bikaner at 5-50 hours on third day. 

In return direction, Train No. 05633 Bikaner junction - Guwahati weekly special will run w.e.f. 30-06-2021 leaving from Bikaner junction at 01-45 hours on every Wednesday to reach Guwahati at 00-35 hours on third day.

•    Train No. 05632 Guwahati – Barmer weekly special will run w.e.f. 01-07-2021 leaving from Guwahati at 10-45 hours on every Thursday to reach Barmer at 08-25 hours on third day. 

•    In return direction, Train No. 05631 Barmer - Guwahati weekly special will run w.e.f. 04-07-2021 leaving from Barmer at 23-35 hours on every Sunday to reach Guwahati at 00-35 hours on fourth day.
