Dimapur, August 21 (MExN): The 13th Session of The North East Alliance for Leadership, Education and Social Transformation (NEALEAST) Leadership Institute conducted a Youth Leadership Training for the Assam Valley Baptist Mission with the theme, “Tea Tribes for Holistic Transformation” from August 19 to 22 at Youth Oasis Centre, Dimapur.

According to a press release on Sunday, the resource persons for the training were Rev Maong Lemtur, Imli P Lemtur, Rev Dr Rabi Pame, Director Blessing Ministry, and Rev Dr.Takatemjen, the Founding Director of NEALEAST. The programme was coordinated by Nimrudh Mandal, Evangelist from Assam Valley Baptist Mission. The 50 young trainees participated in classes, discussions, devotional talks, Bible memorization competition, prayer time, and exposure to the churches and the city. This is the second training offered by NEALEAST this year to promising youth of the Assam tea tribes, the release stated.   

Stating that the programme was a time of recommitment, rededication, enlightenment and decision making, it said that the trainees have been exposed to various topics on discipleship, leadership and missions. Meanwhile, it expressed gratitude to all the donors and sponsors for making the training possible.
