Aghunato, March 17 (MExN): The 13th Sumi Hoho Trophy, hosted by Eastern Sumi Sports Association, kicked off today in Aghunato Town with Advisor, F&CS, Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection and Taxes, Pukhayi Sumi as the special guest.
According to a DIPR report, during the inaugural programme, the Advisor encouraged the youngsters to utilize their talents in a special way and called for unity through games and sports.
He also spoke on the benefits of sports in the competitive world and urged the gathering to live by their dreams, it said.
The special guest unfurled the flag and declared open the tournament. The oath was administered by the Sports Secretary.
Short speeches were delivered by P Akihito Zhimomi and A Tokiho Assumi.
A special song was presented by Sumi Leku Khetoi while folk dance was presented by Lukikhe-Shevishe.
