Longleng, October 3 (MExN): A total of 1420 PM-JAY and 480 CMHIS beneficiaries have availed services from 2018 to date at the District Hospital Longleng.
Dr Lipok Phom, MO and Nodal Officer AB-PMJAY, shared this information during the 6th anniversary of PM-JAY and the 3rd anniversary of ABDM, organised by the District Health Society Longleng on September 30.
Under the schemes, there are currently 3 hospitals and health units — District Hospital Longleng, Tamlu CHC, and Yongnyah PHC — empanelled under the scheme.
Also speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner W Manpai Phom highlighted the importance of the scheme and how it has benefitted citizens. He encouraged everyone present to avail themselves of the services provided under the schemes. He also lauded the PM-JAY and CMHIS teams for their commendable work so far.
Dr Imotemsu, Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Longleng, also shared insights on the importance of the schemes.
Meanwhile, the District Hospital Longleng received the Best Performing Hospital of the District award at the event.
Winners of the School-level Essay Competition held on September 28 were also announced. Chingpang, GMS Longleng Block, won first prize, while the second and third positions were awarded to Y Theila Phom, Bautüng Hr. Sec School, and Phengmei, GMS Shayung Longleng, respectively.
The event also included beneficiary testimonies, with Namsing representing the Government employee CMHIS category and Chuba Phom the PM-JAY general category, informed a press release from Chief Medical Officer, Longleng.
