Dimapur, February 16 (MExN): A total of 592 patients comprising of 165 males, 255 females and 172 children were treated at a free medical camp organised by 15 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ (IGAR (North) in Noklak village, Tuensang District on February 15 and 16.
The medical camp, conducted with an aim to reach out to needy and medically deprived sections of society in the remote area, also distributed free medicines besides treatments, an AR press note informed.
In addition to medical aids, the locals were educated on the need for important vaccinations, health & hygiene and preventive mechanism to guard against illness, it added.
