The 15th Atou Memorial Open Snooker Championship 2019 under the aegis of Atou Snooker Club and sponsored by Lt. Ketoulhou (Atou) family got underway here today at Atou Pool House.
Altogether, 48 players for Kohima, Dimapur and Wokha are taking part in the tournament.
The champion will win a cash prize of Rs. 15,000 while the runner-up will receive Rs. 10,000.
Semi finalists will get Rs. 3000 each. Rs. 3000 has also been set for highest break point award. The grand finale will take place on August 5.
