Dimapur, November 25 (MExN): 173 Bn CRPF organised Civic Action Programme at its Transit Camp, CRPF located at Industrial Village, Razhuphe, Dimapur on November 25 with Manish Kumar Sachar, Dy Inspector General of Police (Ops) Kohima as the chief guest.
A press release received here stated that during the programme, water storage tanks, solar lamps and sports items were distributed to GMS Indisen Village, GMS Zeliangrong Colony, GMS Fifth Mile Model Village, GMS Signal Angami, Vivekanand Blooming Bird School, Ebenezer Orphanage Home and Tsungiki Youth Club. Also other beneficiaries were from Industrial Village Razhuphe, Ao Kashiram, Indisen Village, Kachari Gaon, DC Court Area, Dimapur, Hill View Colony, Lengrijan etc and nearby area of Transit Camp, CRPF, Razhuphe, Dimapur.
Speaking on the occasion, Commandant of 173 Bn CRPF, Ashok Kumar Yadav informed that Civic Action Programme is conducted by CRPF every year and it bridges the gap between security forces and local populace.
JH Mondal, Second In Command and Heiyilung Nsarangbe, Deputy Commandant conducted the programme by giving introductory and welcome speech. Children of Ebenezer Orphanage Home presented welcome song. Khrieketou Viswentso, Assistant Commandant, Officer Commanding A/173 Bn CRPF and Tarun Kumar Bera, Assistant Commandant, Officer Commanding G/173 Bn CRPF introduced the beneficiaries. Ashok Kumar Yadav, Commandant gave the vote of thanks.
