MON, OCTOBER 14 (MExN): The Mon District Football Association (MDFA) has announced that the 17th edition of the M Noke Memorial Trophy will commence on November 19. The annual football tournament, organized to foster sportsmanship and highlight local talent, invites all interested clubs and teams within Mon District to participate.
The prize structure for this year’s tournament has been set, with the champions receiving Rs 1,80,000 and a trophy. The runners-up will be awarded Rs 1,00,000 along with a trophy, while each semifinalist team will receive Rs 20,000. In addition, individual awards will include certificates, trophies, and cash prizes, celebrating outstanding players in various categories.
Registration for the tournament will open from October 21 to October 31. Forms can be collected from the MDFA office, located near the Indoor Badminton Stadium in Mon. The MDFA encouraged all interested clubs and teams to register within this period.
