Dimapur, April 9 (MExN): The two-day 18th ANKA Sate Level Karate Championship 2020 was organized by All Nagaland Karate Do Association at Logdrum Higher Secondary School, Dimapur on April 8 and 9.
Around 140 karatekas from seven districts of Nagaland took part in the competition, stated a press release received here.
Karate India Organisation (KIO) Treasurer, Kyoshi Mutum Bankim Singh was the chief guest of the medal distribution function at the closing ceremony, Limathung Lotha, Assistant Headmaster, Logdrum HSS was the guests of Honour while Soibam Bindeswari Chanu, Vice Chairman, KIO Women Commission was the special guest.
ANKA Technical Director, Thsathriba Sangthan and ANKA Vice President, Dr S Longkumer also attended the function. ANKA President, Kyoshi T Sangtam gave a brief report on achievements of the Association.
The tournament was conducted as per the rules and regulations of WKF/KIO and under the technical supervision of Kyoshi Mutum Bankim Singh, Treasurer, KIO & Chairman of KIO North East Zone.
