The Nagaland Chess Association (NCA) is gearing up to hold the 18th edition of Nagaland State Chess Championship 2021 from March 29 to April 1 at The Heritage, Old DC’s Bungalow, Kohima.
This championship will be inaugurated by Neiba Kronu, President of NCA, and Minister of Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue, & Parliamentary Affairs.
NCA general secretary Hekugha Yeptho informed that top four players of the championship will represent Nagaland state at the Senior National Chess Championship scheduled from April 13 to 20 at Nagpur, Uttar Pradesh.
The championship will be held for three categories- Open, Under 18 & Under 14.
Registration for open category will be Rs 1000 ans Rs 500 for Under-18 category and Under-14 category respectively.
