Dimapur, February 16 (MExN): BSCT, Flying Rabbits & Diphupar CC won their respective matches on February 16 at the 1st Champions Trophy T-20 Cricket Tournament at Local Ground Chümoukedima Town.
In the first match, BSCT defeated Climax by 5 wickets. Winning the toss, Climax decided to bat first and set a target of 133 losing 9 wickets in 19 overs. BSCT chased the target in 18 overs losing 7 wickets. Dip was declared man of match for taking 5 wickets and scoring 17 runs.
In the second match, Flying Rabbits CC won the toss and elected to field. Hurricane CC were bundled out for 99 runs in 18 overs. It was a comfortable target chase for Flying Rabbits who secured the win in 9 overs losing 2 wickets. Dramendar was adjudged man of the match for scoring 50 runs.
Diphupar CC defeated Braveheart Warriors in the last match of the day. Winning the toss, they set a target of 166 with a loss of 9 wickets. Braveheart Warriors were all out for 134 runs and Diphupar CC won by 32 runs.
