Mon, January 8 (MExN): The Loung United Club has called off the 1st Nokpang Memorial Trophy which was scheduled to be organised from January 10 to 15 at Leangha Village Football Ground. Expressing regret, the Loung United Club in a press release said that the decision has been made to affirm their support towards the Konyak civil society and as a sign of respect to the departed souls of Oting and Mon town incident on December 4 and 5, 2021.
The club also condemned the gruesomeness and heinous crime committed by 21 Para Special Arm Force and extended total solidarity with all the bereaved families in time of this unbearable lost. It appeal all the sections of the Konyak Society to stand united until justice is delivered.
