Participants of 1st open Naga wrestling competition in Ao area with officials on May 1.
Kohima, May 1 (MExN): The 1st open Naga wrestling competition in Ao area took place today at Saringyim village in Mokokchung district in coinciding with Moatsü festival.
This event aim to promote Naga wrestling in Ao area and also to the other non wrestling tribes of Nagaland
Toshimanen Imchen, Akumtoshi Imchen and Imtinenba Imchen stood first, second and third position respectively.
This event was supported by Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) and managed by Keduovilie Zumu (Guest Mentor), Keneiselie Khawakhrie (Coach), Medosalie Zumu (Assistant coach) and Yimkumsashi Pongen (Event manager).
