Two of the six NSCN (IM) cadres, who were killed in a shootout with security forces in Longding, Arunachal Pradesh on July 11, were buried today in Dimapur. According to official sources, the bodies of Lance Corporal Lentsuba Lalii, Sgt Major Ashak Wangsa, 2nd Lieutenant Somaya and Sergeant Somipan Shaiza reached Dimapur by road around 6:00 pm. The bodies of the slain cadres were received by the Naga Hoho and the Naga Mothers’ Association. The sources said that Lalii and Wangsa were given a decent burial at the Naga Cemetery, while, Somaya and Shaiza’s mortal remains proceeded to Ukhrul, Manipur for the last rites. Lance Corporal Paogouhao’s body was taken to his native place in Dima Hasao district, Assam and Sergeant Pansa’s body was transported to the Naga area in Myanmar.
