
Dimapur, November 5 (MExN): Faith Theological College (FTC) conducted its 12th Graduation Ceremony on November 4 at the College campus. A total of 20 students graduated in the B Th, M Div and M Th courses, a press release informed on Friday.
The programme was graced by Nagaland Advisor for Industries & Commerce, Labour & Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Imnatiba as the special guest. Addressing the gathering, he congratulated the graduates and advised them to be more disciplined and committed for the work of God. He encouraged the graduates and the gathering to have Christ-like character and promised to help the college in every possible way.
Guest Speaker Rev H Gideon, General Secretary, Fellowship of Naga Baptist Associations (FNBA) encouraged the gatherings from Exodus 3:1-7. Using the example of Moses, he advised the graduates not only to work for God but to work with God. He also pronounced the dedicatory prayer for the graduates.
According to the release, the programme was chaired by lecturer Kasuidi Gangmei and invocation was said by Rev Khyolamo Jami, Senior Associate, Pastor Lotha Baptist Church, Purana Bazar. Conferring of degrees was done by Principal and Academic Dean followed by ‘charge to the graduates’ pronounced by Rev Dr S Gangte, Founder Principal. Valedictory speech was given by Zachisato Tetseo (M Div) and Bendangsenla Ao (M Th). Meanwhile, the vote of thanks was given by Board Chairperson Er Dr L Yezhekhu Sumi followed by benediction by Rev Dr Khetoshe Aye, Pastor, Unity Village Sumi Baptist Church.
FTC is a government recognized institution which is accredited by NATA, IATA & GATA, the release stated, adding that it is also associated with Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU), and offers Diploma, B Th, and M Div residential programmes.
