Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio today described the year 2022 as a ‘good year’ for Nagaland.
As per assessment of National Crime Report Bureau (NCRB), Nagaland was positioned as the most peaceful state in the country, he said.
He said the Naga political issue has not been resolved yet but the people have not given up hope.
Talking to media persons on the sideline of gracing a sports event at Dihoma village in Kohima district today, Rio said “Hopefully, 2023 will also be a peaceful year and very fruitful year.”
Good things should happen in 2023 for all the Nagas, he said.
Rio made a clarion appeal to the Nagas to realize that unity is requisite for all round development.
If we are united, anything can be resolved, he maintained.
He also expressed optimism that 2023 would be a “very good year, progressive year” and to have solution (Naga political issue) or to form government to give a stable government to bring development.
He extended best wishes to all citizens of Nagaland to have a peaceful and prosperous new year.
