Mokokchung and Kohima enter semi finals

Mokokchung and Kohima districts today secured their semi finals berth after registering wins in their respective matches at the ongoing 20th Inter District Football Championship 2019 (Dr T Ao Trophy) here at Indira Gandhi Stadium.
In the first match of the day, Mokokchung beat Zunheboto 3-0.
Suponglemba opened the account for Mokokchung in the 14th minute and later netted his second goal for the team in the 58th minute. Toshiwanbang contributed another goal for the team in the team in the 43rd minute. With this, Mokokchung will face Phek in the first semi finals on February 1 at 10: 00 AM.
Kohima meanwhile defeated Tuensang with a winning margin of four goals to nil. Yhunshalo Kemp connected the first goal for Kohima in the 6th minute. Kezhose Khizho fetched a hat-trick for Kohima in the 31st, 72nd and 76th minute. Kohima will now clash with Peren in the 2nd semi finals on February 1 at 1:00 PM.
