Wins for MTYO Medziphema and Unity FC

MTYO Medziphema and Unity FC today overpowered their respective opponents at the ongoing 20th NSF Martyr's Memorial Trophy 2019 here at Kohima Local Ground.

In the first match of the day, MTYO Medziphema defeated Laimeisham FC Longleng 5-1.

Zumzum connected the first goal for MTYO in the 5th minute while Darhü increased the score tally in the 14th minute. Later, Darhü scored his second and third goal in the 46th and 67th minute. Zumzum scored the fifth goal in the 69th minute to help the team win over Laimeishan FC.

Laimeisham FC Longleng got a consolation through an own goal from Khosa in the 31st minute.

In the second match, Unity FC defeated United Falcon Club Medziphema 4-1 via tie breaker.

Olando netted a goal for Unity FC in the 65th minute while equalizer goal for United Falcon Club came through the boot of Inato Ayemi in the 82nd minute, pushing the match to a tiebreaker. 
Unity FC won the tie-break 4-1.
