21st ANPSA Sports Meet 2019 concludes

Dimapur, November 4 (MExN): The 21st Annual Sports Meet 2019 of the All Nagaland Private Schools Association (ANPSA), Dimapur Unit was held from October 30-31 at Greenwood Hr. Sec. School, Kuda Village, Dimapur.

All together 19 member schools participated in the two-day event organized under the theme “Unity for Excellence through Sports.” 

After two-day of competition in various field and track events, Greenwood Hr. Sec. School and Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School were declared as the Overall Champion and Runners-up in the Higher Secondary Section (Category-B).

In the High School Section (Category-A), Lorna’s School and Riverine Public School were adjudged the Overall Champion and the Runners-up respectively. 

In the March Past event, Woodstock School got the 1st position while Bethesda Hr. Sec. School and Lorna’s School got 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. 

Molongakum of Greenwood Hr. Sec. School and Talisungla of Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School won the best boy and girl athletes in the Higher Secondary Section. 

The best boy athlete in the High School Section was Sentiyapang of Greenwood Hr. Sec. School while Naomi D. Phom of Herbert Spencer’s School and Venakali of Lampstand School were adjudged as the best girl athletes in the same category. 

Bethesda Hr. Sec. School bagged the Best Discipline School Award.

The Closing Ceremony at Greenwood Hr. Sec. School was marked by distribution of Prizes in various categories and events where Principals and Heads of different ANPSA member schools attended.
