Kohima, September 27 (MExN): Kohima Police manning Phesama police check gate seized 450 kg of ganja worth Rs. 22.5 lakh in the national market from a truck bearing registration number NL01L0476. The contraband was found concealed between the tarpaulin canopy of the vehicle, informed a press release from Atu Zumvü, SDPO (South)/PRO, Kohima Police. In this connection, three persons identified as Lole Rapei, Ashok Sonar, and Daniel Poumai were taken into police custody for possession and transportation of the contraband ganja and a regular case vide Kohima South P.S Case No. 0059/2016 U/S 20 (b) (ii) (C) NDPS Act was registered against them for conducting further investigation, the release added.
