New Market FC and Bucaneers FC today registered win in their respective matches on day-7 of the ongoing 22nd NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy 2022 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
New Market FC- 9, Go Live FC CBCK-0
In the first match, New Market FC blanked Go Live FC CBCK 9-0.
Rhitso Mero contributed six goals for New Market FC at 16th, 21st, 34th, 36th, 53rd and 90minute.
Neisede Peseyie, Petevizo Kezieo and Gideon Leo added a goal each for the team at 38th, 59th and 83rd minute.
Neisede Peseyie was adjudged man of the match. The award was handed by NSF MMT organizing committee co-convenor, Kezhangulie Kirekhanuo.
Bucaneers FC-3, Kelhoukevira FC-1
Bucaneers FC defeated Kelhoukevira FC 3-1 via tie breaker in the second match.
Rajuvikuo Khawakhrie netted a goal for Kelhoukevira FC in the 15th minute and the equalizer for Bucaneers FC came through Amesi in the 48th minute.
After 1-1 draw within the stipulated time, the match was decided through a tie break in which Bucaneers FC won the match.
The man of the match was awarded to Mhieneizotuo Lhousa of Kelhoukevira FC. The award was handed by Dziesebei-ü Vizo, Administrator, Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
