Unity FC, Shillong Lajong FC, FIFA FC and Ura Uvie FC today registered win in their respective matches at the ongoing 22nd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2022 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima under the aegis of Angami Students Union (ASU).
 
Unity FC-3, Viswemi FC-0
Unity FC Meriema found the quarter final berth after defeating Viswemi FC 3-0 in the 7th pre-quarter match of the day.

The first goal in favour of Unity FC Meriema came through the boot of Kenei Viluo in the 55th minute.

Asekho increased the score tally of the team in the 57th minute.

Asezo netted the third goal in the 90th minute.

The Man of the match was awarded to Kenei Viluo of Unity FC Meriema, which was presented by Kevilebi Zashumo, technical director 22nd NSF MMT and Proprietor Sports Paradise, Kohima.
 
Shillong Lajong FC- 8, Pochury SU-0
Shillong Lajong FC blanked Pochury Students Union, 8-0 in 8th pre-quarter match.

Gladdy netted 2 goals fo Shillong Lajong FC- in the 19th and 37th minute.

Chanmitre, Wadajied, Everbright Son, Samuel Vanlalpeka, Atlan Kharman and Henry Ford contributed a goal each in the 30th, 34th, 72nd, 76th, 78th and 80th minute.

Atlan Kharmaw was awarded the man of the match, which was handed over by Keneido Peseyie, Asst Director SIB.
 
FIFA FC-2, Headhunters FC-1
In the 1st quarter final match, FIFA FC defeated Headhunters FC 2-1 to advance to semi finals.

Pursunep netted a goal for Headhunters FC in the 10th minute.

Ronald Saikhom scored the equalizer goal for FIFA FC in the 52nd minute, who later netted the winning goal for the team in the 70th minute.

Kuolie Mere, PRO Nagaland House, New Delhi handed over the man of the match award to Jayananda Moirangthem Singh.
 
Ura Uvie FC-4, Vafiimei Gaziphema FC-0
Ura Uvie FC blanked Vafiimei Gaziphema FC Manipur 4-0 in the 2nd quarter final to enter the semifinals.

Shürhosel Zhotso netted 2 goals for Ura Uvie in the 1st and 42nd minute. Kevisanyü Peseyie also contributed two more goals to the team.

ASU former president Dievi Yano handed over the man of the match award to Hekato Aye of Ura Uvie FC.
