A Civil Services Coaching Sponsorship Programme was officially launched to support 23 selected candidates from the 38-Wokha Assembly Constituency. The programme, an initiative of local MLA Y. Mhonbemo Humtsoe, is aimed at providing coaching support to aspirants from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

The selected candidates will begin their coaching classes at Focus Academy starting April 23. The initiative is intended to offer academic preparation and mentorship for students preparing for the Civil Services Examination.

The launch event was held at the residence of MLA Humtsoe, where candidates, their families, and mentors gathered for the occasion. Rev O. Thungben Kikon, Pastor of Wokha Village Baptist Church, led a prayer and offered motivational words to the aspirants.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Humtsoe encouraged the students to remain committed and disciplined in their studies. He emphasized that the programme aims not only to improve academic readiness but also to build confidence and leadership among the youth of the region. He also expressed gratitude to the management of Focus Academy for collaborating on the programme.
