Asufü Football Academy today booked semi finals berth at the ongoing 24th NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy 2024 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
In the 3rd Quarter finals played today, Asufü Football Academy defeated Michazou FC 7- 0.
Bijoy Moktan opened the account for Asufii FA in the early 8th minute.
P Sorormi Thinsang fetched a hattrick for the team in the 18th, 34th and 87th minute.
Suzülo Mao, Korouhanba Laishram and Janjagin Kuki also contributed a goal each to the team in the 27th, 31st and 62nd minute respectively.
Mathanmi Ninshen of Asufü Football Academy was declared as the player of the match and honoured by match patron K Inazhe Phuleshe, Director, Rural Development, Govt of Nagaland.
Meanwhile, the 4th Quarter-Final playing this evening between Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) and Circle FC, Chedema has kept at abeyance due to technical problem. The remaining time will continue tomorrow (2nd Oct) at 9:30 am, according to Angami Students’ Union.
The 1st Semi-Final match between Asufü Christian Institute and Sechü-Zubza FC on October 2 has been pre-poned to 2:00 PM.
