Circle Football Club Chedema and Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong today became the last two teams to book the quarter-final berth at the ongoing 24th NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy 2024 organized by Angami Students’ Union at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima.

Playing the seventh match of the round of 16, Circle FC  Chedema blanked Khrietho FC Meriema by 2 goals scored by Joseph in the 26th 41st minutes of the game.

Man of the match award went to Kennedy Lalboi Kuki of Circle FC. The award was handed over by Ako Zhasa, former executive of ASU.

In the last pre-quarter final match, Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) thrashed Tribal Stallions FC by six goals to nil. Ramchan  Shatsang opened the floodgates in the 8th minute while Aimso Chithung doubled it in the 13th minute while also scoring a hat-trick with goals coming in the 59th & 64th minutes. Machimmi Kashung and Worchuipei Kashung added a goal each in the 75th and 89th minutes respectively. Aimso Chithung was declared the man of the match, the award of which was handed over by Gentleson Vashum, former Speaker, Naga Students’ Federation.
