Kohima, August 9 (MExN): There are 26, 504 ration card holders in Phek district.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio who also holds the portfolio of food & civil supplies replied this to MLA Chotisuh Sazo at the recently concluded 8th session of 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
Out of 26, 504, AAY ration card holder consist of 4505 and 21, 999 PHH.
Block wise ration card holders included; Phek HQ- 4709, Meluri- 3315, Chizami- 2038, Chetheba- 2927, Pfutsero- 7732, Phokhungri- 787, Khezhakeno- 327, Sekrezu- 1960 and Chozuba- 2709.
Rio furnished the details on sub division wise, village wise and scheme wise of AAY and PHH.
The total quantity of rice allocated to Phek district during January 2020 upto June 2021 stands 1, 71, 921.15 quintals.
The detail month-wise and scheme wise i.e. AAY & PHH (Regular NFSA) & PMGKAY also tabled in the House.
Further, the monthly village-wise allocation/distribution of rice under AAY, PHH have also been furnished.
